Quest for Success Students enjoy record-breaking college admissions and scholarship funds – sets sights on new Quest4 Challenge

NAPLES, Fla. (April 25, 2016) – Due to tremendous growth and expanding demand, Quest for Success, a non-profit college preparatory organization, today announced record scholarship numbers and the rolling out of a new initiative offering one-on-one college and life skills planning – Quest4.

Quest students have been offered over $12.7 million in scholarships thus far and are expected to grow by another several hundred thousand, cites Sue Zumstein, Executive Director at Quest for Success.

“This is an exciting time for Quest,” said Tom Grady, President of the Quest Board of Directors and member of the Florida State Board of Education, the body charged with overseeing education standards for K-12 and Florida State Colleges. “Quest students have experienced tremendous success and to support them we have exciting initiatives in development. Quest impacts students in a way other programs cannot. Quest changes lives,” he said. “We have a long-standing history in the community and I look forward to our kid’s continued growth and success,” he added.

Quest for Success is a gateway for high-achieving students with vision – regardless of financial circumstance –to access the tools they need to chart a course for a four year college or university, make a commitment to stay on course and to graduate on time, ultimately leading to economic freedom.

“Parents and educators need to better engage in a dialog outlining the true cost of college if a student does not graduate in four years. This should be a key part of the college planning conversation, but rarely is,” said Grady. “However, Quest students are equipped with a full spectrum of college planning tools in an effort to have them understand the importance of graduating in four years. “Quest4 is a new initiative aimed at challenging our students to sign a 4-year graduation pledge.” Details of Quest4 will be announced in conjunction with Rick Scott’s State of Florida Education Summit in Orlando.

Quest is a community-based organization providing highly personalized and effective methods for students to access and pay for most college. Quest began with 10 students in 1993 and currently serves over 340 diverse students from Collier County public and private schools. Quest’s mission is to foster economic freedom through education by empowering high school students to reach their highest career potentials through lifelong learning.
